**Policy Reminder: NOTE: It is required that children 9 and under be accompanied by an adult at all times while at our YMCA and during Open Swim times. Children 9 and under must be accompanied to and from programs/classes by a parent/guardian. No Front Entry drop-off or pick-up.**
Open Swim— Open to anyone for recreational or fitness swimming. Adults must accompany children age 9 & under. Children using bubbles, puddle jumpers and/or Coast Guard approved life jackets must be directly supervised by an adult in the water. Noodles, balls, masks/ snorkels/fins, swimsuits with floats inserted and water wings are NOT permitted. 3 lap lanes available. NO Open/Lap Swim if Birthday Party is scheduled on Saturday.
Family Swim— Open for all families to practice skills or simply enjoy the water. Adults must accompany children age 9 & under. Children using bubbles, puddle jumpers or Coast Guard approved life jackets must be directly supervised by an adult in the water. Noodles and balls are permitted. Water wings, swimsuits with floats inserted, and masks/snorkel/fins are NOT permitted. Three lap lanes available
Adult Rec— A time set aside for adults age 18 and older to water walk, swim laps, exercise, or just enjoy the water. Please be considerate of others.
Lap Swim— A time set aside for lap swimming only. We encourage all swimmers, of any age, to circle swim & work together during peak times.
Adult Lap Swim— same as Lap Swim but for adults ages 18 & older (32 laps or 64 lengths = 1 mile)
Held in our indoor pool, REAX rafting combines popular land workout formats like HIIT, Yoga and Functional Fitness moves with the instability of the raft on the water to provide an efficient core, strength, and FUN workout! Class size limited to 8. Register early to reserve your raft!

An exercise class with a music background performed in the shallow end of the pool. This class consists of aerobic movements and muscle toning. Some equipment is used such as hand weights, noodles, kickboards, and hand paddles, etc.

This class is for those suffering from arthritis, muscle ailments, or back problems. A certified instructor takes the class through a series of slow, gentle exercises in the water with a concentration on range of motion exercises. Participants do not need to know how to swim, as all exercises are performed in the shallow end of the pool. The hydraulic chair lift and portable steps are available for those who need help in or out of the pool. Held 2x per week on Monday and Wednesday.

Introduction to Competitive Diving is a 5-week course designed to familiarize new divers with the 5 basic positions for 1-meter springboard diving. Participants will learn how to safely execute all the same dives they see in High School, College, and Olympic athletes. It is recommended to have a background in aerial sports (gymnastics, cheer, etc.), but is not required. This course will involve both dry land exercises and pool work. Participants will be divided by grade levels: 5th - 8th and 9th -12th.
Students MUST have attained Stage 4 of YMCA Progressive Swim Level. A minimum of 4 divers are needed to run this program. Brandon Gregg, WAHS Diving Coach, will lead this program. Swim waiver is required prior to registration.
Note: There will be open board practices from 8:00-9:00 am before class begins.

This program is for anyone age 16 and older. Participants must be able to do the following swimming skills in order to pass the water pre-test: front crawl stroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, elementary backstroke, front dive, surface dive to bottom at 12 feet and retrieve an object, treading water and underwater swimming.
The course consists of ASHI Basic Life Support, ASHI Emergency Oxygen Administration, ASHI First Aid, YMCA Lifeguard e-lessons, and the YMCA Lifeguard course. After successfully completing all these, the participant is qualified for a lifeguard position anywhere in the United States.
**Begins with a water pre-test on Monday TBA'd from 6:00-7:00 pm. After successful completion of water pre-test, classes will be held on TBA'd.

A competitive swim team for boys and girls ages 5-18. Major emphasis is on stroke development, teamwork, and the development of the YMCA's four core values. Participants must be able to swim the length of the pool without stopping, using the crawl stroke. Must be a YMCA member to register. See "Swim Team" tab for complete program details.

For anyone with a physical or mental handicap. This program run by the YMCA and the Don Mills Achievement Center is held on Friday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 pm September through mid-May each year. Swim time is split between lessons and fun swim. Sue Nielsen is the coordinator. Volunteers are always needed to help. The YMCA ADA /Family Locker Room is available for those needing assistance.
NOTE: There will be NO classes during December.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience being a Mermaid! Certified instructor, Jill Hunter will teach swimmers how to swim like a mermaid, complete an obstacle course and pose for an underwater photo shoot. Cost of class includes the rental of a mermaid tail, mono-fin and a photo shoot in and above water. Participants will safely be taught how to use a mermaid tail, dive for treasure, blow bubble kisses, dive and roll.
(Must be able to swim the length of the pool, tread water for 1 minute and float on back. Level 3-4 of Progressive Swim Lessons qualify. Ages 6 & up. Swim waiver required. )
Cost: $60.00 for 1.5-hour session/per person

The Outdoor Municipal Pool is a great place to hold a birthday party! Parties may be scheduled AFTER HOURS from 6:00-8:00 pm.
To book a party, please email carpool@warrenymca.org with your party date inquiry. Parties MUST be reserved in advance. Once approved, complete and return Private Party Contract to the City Municipal Office with payment:
