Be Well Programs at the YMCA of Warren County are here to support our community. YMCA locations and programs allow you to engage in a variety of ways that support your mental and physical health. Our Be Well initiatives began in 2022, growing out of the Whole Health Wellness Group. Using a Community Care Model, Be Well Programs further supportive connections firmly grounded in the foundation of mental wellness.
Be Well incorporates multiple components addressing specific aspects and populations.
Be Well Advisory Team is an oversight body providing guidance and direction for all things that fall under the Be Well umbrella. Each month we will meet to discuss the status, adjustments needed, upcoming plans, and new initiatives for the programs, events, & activities.
Be Well Collaborative meets monthly to connect agencies, groups, and organizations. The Collaborative focuses on networking to ensure awareness of resources and avenues to work further growth and progress. A different program or agency presents each month so we can continue to share and learn. Join us on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 11:30am, held at the YMCA, 212 Lexington, Warren, PA unless otherwise noted on the schedule.
Be Well Warrior works with and for our nation’s WARRIORS- active duty, reserve, guard, veteran, and military families. We assist those who put everything on the line to protect our country by utilizing a coalition of community members with three targeted purposes. We meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 1:30pm at the YMCA, 212 Lexington, Warren, PA.
Advocate- Provide community-based training opportunities ~ Network resources and support
Engage- Events for military, veterans, & families ~ Improve quality of life
Support- Eliminate military & veteran suicide ~ Promote a system of peer & professional support

Suicide Prevention Coalition of Warren County is a team of people working together to eliminate suicide and support those impacted by loss through education and awareness in partnership with CORE- Choosing Openness Regarding Experiences, Warren-Forest Human Services, Crisis Services, and Care Providers.
Warren County Dementia Coalition coordinates efforts to ensure a safe and supportive community for those living with dementia and their caregivers.
What’s your 60? Quality of Life Improvement provides an opportunity for those of any age to identify and explore interests and activities that bring joy, comfort, or satisfaction. Whether it takes 60 seconds or 60 minutes, the goal is to recognize personal choices and actions that improve life’s quality.
Other efforts to improve Social Determinants of Health Members of Be Well work with various other groups to further their efforts and support our community.
Local Housing Options Team, facilitated by the Warren-Forest Equal Opportunity Cabinet and Warren-Forest Human Services, to identify and address barriers to safe housing. Barriers include available housing options as well as transportation, connection to services, benefits, mental health, insurance, food, etc.
Warren County Transition Council works to reduce and remove barriers for students/youth as they transition from Warren County School District into their next chapter.
