Held in our indoor pool, REAX rafting combines popular land workout formats like HIIT, Yoga and Functional Fitness moves with the instability of the raft on the water to provide an efficient core, strength, and FUN workout! Class size limited to 8. Register early to reserve your raft!

An exercise class with a music background performed in the shallow end of the pool. This class consists of aerobic movements and muscle toning. Some equipment is used such as hand weights, noodles, kickboards, and hand paddles, etc.

This class is for those suffering from arthritis, muscle ailments, or back problems. A certified instructor takes the class through a series of slow, gentle exercises in the water with a concentration on range of motion exercises. Participants do not need to know how to swim, as all exercises are performed in the shallow end of the pool. The hydraulic chair lift and portable steps are available for those who need help in or out of the pool. Held 2x per week on Monday and Wednesday.

Adult swim lessons can teach you to swim, improve your stroke technique and, more important, teach you to perform basic water safety skills. Ages 14 & up.

Synchronized Swimming is a beginner course that will teach skills and routines in synchronized swimming. Synchronized swimming is designed to improve strength, flexibility and breath control - all while having fun and listening to music. The class is open to all ages but participants must be a Level 4 Progressive swimmer and be able to swim, tread water, and be comfortable under water.
Max enrollment=10.

Have you always wondered what it's like to breath underwater? If you would like to try scuba diving but aren't ready to take the plunge into a certificaiton course, then TRYScuba is for you! No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. Ages 10 thru adult welcome to sign up. Pool attire and a signed swim waiver required. Max enrollment = 8.

Intro to Competitive Diving is a 5-week course designed to familiarize new divers with the 5 basic positions for 1-meter springboard diving. It is recommended to have a background in aerial sports, but is not required. Will include both dry land and pool work. Students MUST have attained Level 4 of YMCA Progressive Swim lessons. Brandon Gregg, WAHS Diving Coach will lead this program. *Swim waiver required to register.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience being a Mermaid! Certified instructor, Jill Hunter will teach swimmers how to swim like a mermaid, complete an obstacle course and pose for an underwater photo shoot. Cost of class includes the rental of a mermaid tail, mono-fin and a photo shoot in and above water. Participants will safely be taught how to use a mermaid tail, dive for treasure, blow bubble kisses, dive and roll.
(Must be able to swim the length of the pool, tread water for 1 minute and float on back. Level 3-4 of Progressive Swim Lessons qualify. Ages 6 & up. Swim waiver required. )
Cost: $60.00 for 1.5-hour session/per person

Open Swim— Open to anyone for recreational or fitness swimming. Adults must accompany children age 9 & under. Children using bubbles, puddle jumpers and/or Coast Guard approved life jackets must be directly supervised by an adult in the water. Noodles, balls, masks/ snorkels/fins, swimsuits with floats inserted and water wings are NOT permitted. 3 lap lanes available. NO Open/Lap Swim if Birthday Party is scheduled on Saturday.
Family Swim— Open for all families to practice skills or simply enjoy the water. Adults must accompany children age 9 & under. Children using bubbles, puddle jumpers or Coast Guard approved life jackets must be directly supervised by an adult in the water. Noodles and balls are permitted. Water wings, swimsuits with floats inserted, and masks/snorkel/fins are NOT permitted. Three lap lanes available
Adult Rec— A time set aside for adults age 18 and older to water walk, swim laps, exercise, or just enjoy the water. Please be considerate of others.
Lap Swim— A time set aside for lap swimming only. We encourage all swimmers, of any age, to circle swim & work together during peak times.
Adult Lap Swim— same as Lap Swim but for adults ages 18 & older (32 laps or 64 lengths = 1 mile)
