Firefly is a fun and exciting program at the Warren County YMCA for adults with intellectual disabilities. Classes run in 5-week sessions with morning and afternoon sessions on Monday & Wednesday and evening sessions on Wednesday & Friday. Each day will consist of a greeting time, exercise time and conclude with a short period of social interaction and nutritious snacks. This program is geared for 12 individuals, along with their aide and/or family members. All will participate in activities to guide them towards a healthy lifestyle. This program will be offered FREE because of the Edith L Trees Trust grant. Pre-registration is required. Please see Kim Slocum to register. Must register prior to the start of each 5 week session.
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays (daytime) and Wednesdays & Fridays (evening)
Daytime: M/W - 10:30-12:00 noon OR 12:45-2:15 pm.
Evening: W/F - 4:30-6:00 pm
